Using the Mail app

To scan a document in the Mail app, start a new email or reply. Tap the “more” arrow on the right side of the keyboard to show more options.

Tap on the paperclip icon and select Scan Document. Complete the scanning process to attach the document as a PDF.

Use the Files app

Open the Files app and navigate to the folder you want the document saved in. Tap on the More button and select Scan Document. Complete the scanning process to save the file.
